The Plettenberg Bay Wine of Origin Region, promulgated in 2005 and now boasting 20 wine producers, is becoming well known for its Sauvignon Blanc.
Increasingly is the area also becoming known for excellent Methode Cap Classique (MCC) bubbly.
As testament to the region's burgeoning reputation, The Plett Wine and Bubbly Festival, now approaching its 3rd anniversary, was established to showcase the area's wines and bubbly. More about the festival in a future blog article soon.

Bramon Wine Estate

Bramon is the farm that started it all for the region, so it is fitting to start your 'tour' here.
Since 2004, Bramon has been producing excellent Sauvignon Blanc and, more recently, their delicious MCC bubbly.
Their conveniently located tasting centre, next to the N2, sells wine, wine accessories, local artworks and furniture.

Newstead - Lund Family Vineyards

Established as a wine farm in 2010, Newstead has produced excellent Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, with Pinot Noir coming soon.
Their tasting room is always open, but booking for lunch is essential.

Redford Lane Wines

With just 1 hectare under vines, Redford Lane have succeeded in realising their simple aim of producing an easy to drink, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc.
Enjoy it with their delicious Ploughman's lunch - booking in season essential.
